- Cake:
- 1 box butter pecan cake mix
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup water
- Praline sauce:
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- Topping:
- 1 cup whipped cream
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
Instructions
- Bake cake according to box instructions in a 9×13 pan.
- Poke holes in warm cake.
- Heat brown sugar, butter, and cream until thickened.
- Pour praline sauce over cake and chill 2 hours.
- Whip cream with sugar and vanilla until stiff peaks form.
- Spread whipped cream over cake and top with pecans.
Notes
- Cool cake slightly before adding sauce for better absorption.
- Chill longer for deeper flavor.
- Best served cold.
