- 7 large ripe peaches, sliced
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 box yellow cake mix (about 15.25 oz)
- 3/4 cup melted butter
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 baking dish.
- Toss peaches with sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, cornstarch, and lemon juice.
- Spread peach mixture evenly in baking dish.
- Mix cake mix, melted butter, and cinnamon until crumbly.
- Sprinkle topping evenly over peaches.
- Bake 30–40 minutes until golden and bubbling.
- Cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Frozen peaches can be used without thawing.
- Add extra cornstarch if using frozen peaches for thicker filling.
- Peach skins can be left on or removed based on preference.
- Best served warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
