  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder

  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 10 Oreo cookies, crushed (plus extra for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake tray with liners.
  2. Crush Oreo cookies into coarse crumbs.
  3. Mix flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
  4. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  5. Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla.
  6. Alternate adding dry ingredients and milk until combined.
  7. Fold in crushed Oreos gently.
  8. Fill liners 2/3 full and bake 18–20 minutes.
  9. Cool completely before frosting or topping.

Notes

  • Do not overmix after adding Oreos to preserve texture.
