- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple with juice
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract

- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 cups powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 pan.
- Mix dry ingredients in a bowl.
- Add eggs, pineapple with juice, vanilla, and oil; mix well.
- Fold in pecans.
- Pour into pan and bake 30–35 minutes.
- Cool completely.
- Beat cream cheese and butter until smooth, then add powdered sugar.
- Frost cooled cake and serve.
