Instructions

  1. Grind lavender with sugar until fragrant.
  2. Cream butter and lavender sugar until fluffy.
  3. Add lemon zest, juice, and vanilla.
  4. Mix flour, baking powder, and salt separately.
  5. Combine dry and wet ingredients into dough.
  6. Chill dough 15–20 minutes.
  7. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  8. Shape dough into cookies and place on baking sheet.
  9. Bake 10–12 minutes until lightly golden.
  10. Cool completely.
  11. Optional: mix glaze ingredients and drizzle over cookies.
