- 1 white cake mix + ingredients on box
- 1 (3 oz) red Jello
- 1 (3 oz) blue Jello
- 2 cups boiling water (divided)
- 1 cup cold water (divided)
- 8 oz whipped topping, thawed
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- Sprinkles (optional)
Instructions
- Bake white cake and let cool.
- Poke holes throughout cake.
- Dissolve red Jello and blue Jello separately.
- Pour Jello into holes.
- Chill for 2 hours.
- Mix whipped topping with powdered sugar.
- Spread over cake and decorate.
- Slice and serve cold.
Notes
- Do not overfill holes with Jello.
- Chill fully before frosting.
- Keep colors separated for best effect.
- Serve cold for best texture.
