- Pastry:
- 13 oz puff pastry
- Filling:
- 1/2 cup lemon curd
- 5 oz cream cheese
- 3 tbsp powdered sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line baking tray.
- Roll out puff pastry and cut slits along both sides, leaving center intact.
- Mix cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, and cornstarch until smooth.
- Spread lemon curd in center, then top with cream cheese mixture.
- Fold strips over filling in a braid pattern.
- Brush with egg wash and bake 17–22 minutes until golden.
- Cool 30 minutes before slicing.

- Keep pastry cold for best flakiness.
